How we handle data, and how our affiliate links work.
Last updated: Oct 22, 2026
ShadeTrek is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We may also use affiliate links from other retailers. Links marked #ad or "Check price" may be affiliate links. They cost you nothing extra and don't affect which products we recommend.
ShadeTrek has no accounts, and we don't ask for personal information to read the site. If you email us, we use your email address only to reply.
When you click a retailer link (such as Amazon), that retailer may set cookies to track the referral, under its own privacy policy. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address. Our web host may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and performance. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page.
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
